Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an engineer, to join the growing manufacturing team for a local automated drone company. The role involves establishing and building manual manufacturing lines from start to finish, ensuring that quality levels and industry standards are maintained or improved in the manufacturing process. The engineers will assist technicians in accelerating builds of products and continue to assist until the process is stable. They will also provide assistance with establishing performance criteria and specifications for manufacturing, assembly, and testing, and participate in cross-functional teams of procurement, engineering, technician, and management stakeholders for vendor oversight and issue tracking.

ResponsibilitiesEstablish and build manual manufacturing lines from start to finish.Improve operational efficiencyAssist technicians in accelerating builds of products and continue to assist until the process is stable.Provide assistance with establishing performance criteria and specifications for manufacturing, assembly, and testing.Implement manufacturing process improvements.Perform electro-mechanical assembly.Yield optimization, cycle improvement, etc.Troubleshooting documentationCM management Essential SkillsExperience establishing lines from scratch, including material procurement, training technicians, and creating and establishing documentation.Experience with structured manufacturing lines and familiarity with metrics like OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in Solidworks.Proficiency in CAD.Work Environment

The position requires in-person work 5 days a week in South San Francisco.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.29 - $72.12/hr.
