Job Description

Seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in welding, metal fabrication, and machine processes. The ideal candidate will drive manufacturing improvements, optimize welding operations, and support production teams to ensure quality and efficiency in a fast-paced facility.

ResponsibilitiesOversee the site weld program, including WPS/PQR, Welder Certifications, and equipment automation programs.Develop, evaluate, and improve welding and manufacturing process specifications to enhance production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation, including ISO and Pressure Equipment Directive.Collaborate with the Quality department on corrective and preventative actions to ensure project delivery and cost savings.Analyze manufacturing processes, implement and design new processes, and manage projects.Work with sales administration to understand and meet customer welding requirements.Represent the company with customers and suppliers regarding weld quality issues.Collaborate with the management team to maintain a continuous organizational improvement environment.Train and support production staff on proper welding techniques, equipment operation, and best practices.Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, quote processing, and planning with suppliers/vendors.Perform Non-Conforming Material Analysis.Be available to travel 5-10%.Essential SkillsASMEProcess improvementLean manufacturingSolidWorksBachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering3+ years of hands-on manufacturing experienceMachine design and optimizationLean ManufacturingSolidWorksGD&TManufacturing processesMetal fabricationPipingProcess engineeringContinuous improvementMachiningCryogenicsAutomated equipmentCWIMIG, TIG, and Stick weldingCAD softwareEquipment optimizationMachine designAutomationManufacturing engineeringSix SigmaAdditional Skills & QualificationsISOPressure Equipment DirectiveBilingualDegree in Manufacturing, Welding, or Mechanical EngineeringLean Six Sigma Green Belt or higherEquipment AutomationWork Environment

Industrial manufacturing site with hands-on production for metal/welding fabrication. The role reports to the VP of Operations and is managed by the Lead R&D Engineer. The Manufacturing Engineer will work primarily with production, welding, and upper management within quality, engineering, and supply chain departments. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with a flexible start time between 6:00-7:30 AM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
