Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Pay Rate: $80,000+ per year
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly technical Manufacturing Engineer to join our overnight production support team. This role serves as the first and second line of defense for troubleshooting and resolving production issues, ensuring smooth operations, and driving continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and experience in process engineering, with an emphasis on HPLC systems, reliability analysis, and technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the troubleshooting lead for overnight production issues, diagnosing problems and implementing solutions in real time.
* Conduct maintenance activities, develop test plans and training materials for the maintenance team.
* Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to resolve critical production challenges.
* Facilitate cross-functional problem-solving, coordinating the appropriate team members to develop and execute recovery plans.
* Perform engineering documentation tasks, ensuring clear and accurate records of troubleshooting, maintenance procedures, and process changes.
* Conduct data analysis to identify production issues, assess reliability trends, and recommend process improvements.
* Apply mechanical aptitude and process engineering expertise to understand and optimize production workflows.
* Gain expertise in High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and related technical processes.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Strong mechanical aptitude - ability to assemble, troubleshoot, and optimize production equipment.
* Background in process engineering, chemistry, or a related technical field.
* Experience with HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) or a willingness to learn.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong data analysis capabilities - able to identify trends, diagnose reliability issues, and propose solutions.
* Ability to document processes and troubleshooting efforts clearly and effectively.
* Experience in manufacturing, production support, or maintenance engineering preferred.
Comfortable working overnight shifts and collaborating across teams.
