Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description Responsibilities:  Work with Design Engineering to ensure designs are easy to manufacture.  Create processes for high-volume production lines to ensure top-quality vehicles.  Lead efforts to meet quality targets, including developing strategies and plans.  Oversee tooling design and work with vendors to deliver final products.  Participate in early project planning and review documents.  Develop and improve processes and equipment for prototype builds.  Review and optimize line designs, including robot and tooling simulations.  Lead the installation and ramp-up of production lines, collaborating with vendors.  Work with teams to improve safety, quality, and efficiency during production ramp-up.  Prepare final documentation for new production lines.  Manage project scope, budget, and vendor coordination for new equipment.  Analyze and optimize production processes for safety, yield, capacity, and cost.  Improve line layouts, processes, and fixtures using Lean Manufacturing practices. Skills and Requirements Requirements:  B.S. in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.  2-5 years of relevant experience.  Independent, collaborative, detail-oriented, organized, and decisive.  Able to handle pressure and tight deadlines.  Positive, proactive, and accountable.  Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.  Data-driven and able to implement changes based on data.  Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability.  Familiar with problem-solving methodologies (DMAIC, 8D, etc.).  Experience with 3D CAD, PLC programming, and robot programming.  Hands-on experience with jigs, fixtures, and equipment installations.  Understanding of BOMs, process design, validation, and cost reduction.  Experienced with AUTOCAD, CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, and similar tools. null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
