As an Associate Manufacturing Engineer, you will design new, modified, or improved components/process tooling in accordance with engineering standards & project scope of work.
YOUR IMPACT
Prepare vehicle layouts and component part drawings with supporting calculations, (i.e. weight distribution, etc.), prepare standard work instructions (SWIs) and maintain through engineering changes.
Select parts and/or design components for cost and quality-consciousness.
Follow project on the assembly floor or through prototype build when instructed by supervisor and render assistance as necessary.
Generate bills of material and assembly drawings as required by project.
Adhere to time schedules, complete time studies and utilize them for debottlenecking projects.
Consult with suppliers, customers, and members of Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Assembly, Service, Testing, and Quality Control.
Utilize various state-of-the-art engineering tools (i.e. AutoCAD, Creo, and Ignition) in assigned projects as applicable.
Possess a strong mechanical knowledge of equipment and related systems.
Design cell layouts and assist with continuous improvement efforts throughout the facility.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree in Welding Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering OR equivalent work experience
Internship experience or 6 plus months related work experience with degree or 5+ years of related experience without a degree
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
Proficient in computer-aided design software such as AutoCAD, Creo, etc.
Willingness to learn other computer systems
Strong communication skills

Pay Range:
$56,600.00 - $88,400.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
