Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it. **JOB PURPOSE:** + Assists with technical analysis of manufacturing processes in all aspects of production, costs, quality, compliance to safety guidelines, and environmental requirements for manufacturing. + Coordinates engineering releasing activities between engineering design areas and procurement/scheduling with effective and timely implementation. **JOB DUTIES:** + Specify the procedures, manufacturing bill of material, and resources needed to transform a product design into a product. + Standard work design – Use an enterprise-wide approach of leveraging technology and innovation to make sustainable progress possible. Develop, maintain, and use robust standards, practices, and specifications covering all sub-processes. + Optimize product and process design and simplify manufacturing and assembly processes, which reduces cost and improves reliability. + Tools and device - Determine the specifications for all perishable and durable tooling, gages, lifting devices, and torque tools. + Correct defects and issues that impede delivery of quality products downstream and to Caterpillar customers. + Providing coaching and development for operations technical staff and support areas. + Providing engineering support on planning, development, operation, and processes. + Analyzing engineering releases, changes, drawing notices to create change management requirements, providing the creation of product structure based on engineering design. + Creating, maintaining, and communicating accurate change management data at both the local and corporate level through data entry in multiple management information systems. **JOB REQUIREMENTS (must include education, years of working experience, English level, office 365 skill, job related knowledge and soft skills etc.)** Capability requirement: + Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of the philosophy, principles and implementation approaches of lean manufacturing; ability to integrate and implement lean manufacturing philosophy into existing production and management processes. + Manufacturing Processes: Knowledge of existing product manufacturing methods, technologies and processes; ability to execute, plan, manage and monitor the entire manufacturing process. + Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations. + Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
