Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op

POSITION OVERVIEW

Position will apply principles of Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering to manufacturing processes to achieve maximum quality and productivity from labor, materials and equipment.

JOB DESCRIPTION  (Key Responsibilities):

Provide shop floor support in daily problem solving activities. Identify and implement projects such as productivity and cost reduction projects in assigned area.Develop and maintain appropriate process documentation to support ISO 9000 Certification.Create job work instructions as requested on existing and incoming equipment.Develop and implement World Class Manufacturing Processes.Investigate, justify and implement capital equipment needs.Communicate company goals, objectives and philosophies to the workforce.Attend communication meetings.Follow Emerson Ethics and Safety ProgramsAdhere to all Export, Import and Supply Chain Security Policy requirements relevant to the positionFollow State and Federal Environmental Compliance ProgramsAdhere to ISO 9000 StandardsJob duties include but are not limited to the above
