MAU is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer for our client in Greenville, SC. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will develop and optimize processes to ensure safe, high-quality production, drive continuous improvement initiatives, resolve technical challenges, and collaborate with teams to achieve project goals for safety, quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. This is a contract position with the opportunity to be hired directly by the client.
Benefits Package 401k matching Life insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Paid time off Shift Information Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university OR college, OR High school diploma/GED with 4+ years of manufacturing experience At least 1 year of experience in production processes and equipment (preferred) Experience with CNC grinding (preferred) General Requirements Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities, with the capacity to influence others and lead small teams Proven ability to lead initiatives with moderate scope and impact Skilled in coordinating multiple projects simultaneously Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities Comprehensive understanding of complex, highly technical concepts and principles within the relevant functional area In-depth knowledge of technical concepts in intersecting technologies and disciplines Strong aptitude and willingness to work hands-on with equipment Essential Functions Provide technical support to machining cells, including troubleshooting, improving equipment reliability, enhancing process rigor, addressing tooling needs, and performing minor programming tasks as required Manage projects and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with plant performance metrics Lead and oversee qualifications to meet project and customer requirements Ensure all engineering designs and technical data comply with customer Critical to Quality (CTQ) standards and regulatory requirements Develop and enhance technical work instructions for manufacturing processes to ensure clarity and consistency Maintain, update, and enforce process documentation in assigned areas to uphold quality standards Implement and sustain 5S methodology in assigned areas, fostering a culture of organization and continuous improvement Provide technical support for New Product Introduction (NPI) and repair processes, focusing on quality and program requirements Lead analytical and design activities using established technologies and methodologies Mentor and support team members within your area of expertise Develop innovative solutions collaboratively or independently based on organizational precedents Communicate effectively within the function and across teams in your area of expertise Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
