**Title: Manufacturing Engineer II**
**Location: Menlo Park, CA (Onsite)**
**Duration: 12 months**
**Pay Range : $45/hr to $50/hr (On W2)**
We are looking for a “ **Manufacturing Engineer** “to join one of our Fortune 500 clients.
**Job Summary:**
Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including supporting of manufacturing lines (equipment, materials, and process), root causing nonconforming product, and monitoring line performance relative to goals. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments. Monitor yield, quality, and efficiency and implements improvement initiatives in the line. Also supports component test method development and testing, ensuring consistent results and efficient methods.
**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Observes and complies with all safety rules and regulations. This includes Quality Systems (QS) and ISO Standards.
+ Provide technical service under the direction of others.
+ Identifies and implements corrective actions for manufacturing and/or yield related issues.
+ Evaluate operating data to conduct online adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.
+ May develop or revise documents and procedures. Maintain documentation, monitoring logs, training manuals, etc. for regulatory compliance
+ Certifies manufacturing associates in the production processes.
+ Exchanges information with project team members, designers, management, and other engineering or production personnel.
+ Delivers recommendations and suggestions to project team members and management within the department.
+ Assist in the startup of new and troubleshoot existing processes/equipment to ensure optimal operation and performance.
+ Assist in the implementation of long term projects to maintain efficiency, yield and quality.
+ Prepares protocols and reports for engineering testing, including evaluation of new materials or process changes for the manufacturing line
+ Prepares protocols and reports related to component testing, including measurement system analysis (MSA) and gage repeatability and reproducibility (gage R&R) studies
**Education:**
+ Bachelor Science or Bachelor Engineering, Electrical, Software, or Mechanical Engineering.
+ 3 - 5 years of experience
**Experience Desired:**
+ Experience with statistics and measurement systems including optical measuring systems preferred.
+ Previous experience as Manufacturing or Quality engineer desired.
