Manufacturing Engineer II - Material Flow Engineering

Volt is immediately hiring for a Material Flow Engineer in Horicon, WI.

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

As a Material Flow Engineer, you will:

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tSupport the strategic alignment of material flow processes and strategies within the factory.\r\n\tLead and facilitate projects of moderate scope supporting material movement, storage and presentation.\r\n\tTrain stakeholders on material flow processes and tools.\r\n\tWork closely with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering and Production Planning to support processes and analysis related to warehouse, transportation, and inter-factory logistics.\r\n\tSupport the factory continuous improvement, 5S and visual factory initiatives.\r\n\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

Desired Skills:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tExperience working in a manufacturing environment.\r\n\tIndustrial Engineering background.\r\n\tWarehouse material flow experience\r\n\tMicrosoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.\r\n\tKnowledge of SAP and AutoCAD.\r\n\tKnowledge of Power BI, Python and other related data management software.\r\n\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

Education:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tPreferred bachelor’s in mechanical engineering or similar engineering field preferred.\r\n\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

Shift: Monday – Friday – 1st Shift

\r\n\r\n

Duration: 12+ Months

\r\n\r\n

Location: Horicon, WI 53032

\r\n\r\n

Work Schedule: Onsite

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

Pay rate: $43/hr. to $48/hr.

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
