Job Summary: 

Trane Technologies is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer III in La Crosse, WI. As the Manufacturing Engineer, you will design and develop manufacturing processes and systems focused on exceeding quality, cost and schedule requirements within the manufacturing organization.

This role will be based on-site at our La Crosse, Wi facility and is safety-sensitive. 

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement processes (to include automation where appropriate) to improve productivity, quality, equipment performance, and energy consumption.Develop and define concepts and manufacturing processes for, and as an integral part of, all new product introductions and product enhancement programs, using various tools and techniques including DFM / DFA (Design for Manufacturability and Assembly), FMEA, 3P (Production, Preparation Process), 7-Ways, and Lean Six Sigma Methodology.Develop manufacturing planning schedules, capacity assessments, initial tooling requirements and costs, process capability requirements and control methods to facilitate the definition and specification of manufacturing processes.Develop and implement manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls which optimize value-added operations, product/process quality, and environmental, health, and safety (EHS) requirements.Collaborate closely with various cross functional team members to enhance design for manufacturability and ease of product integration into the manufacturing facility.Provide technical expertise and leadership for the timely resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems. Serve as a resource for cause-effect analyses, investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning and implementation.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.Five (5) or more years of related work experience.Project management skills and experience. Certification in project management preferred.Experience leading teams across a range of project scopes and complexities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to inform, influence, and advise others.Strong aptitude for mechanical/electrical application as related to equipment/processes.Results-oriented individual with an emphasis on achieving overall team performance through a strong work ethic and positive attitude with honesty, integrity, and authenticity.

 Base Pay Range:  $110,000 - $130,000/annually
