Responsibilities

Process leadership for Motor manufacturing, motor components and automated assembly processes associated with this. Drive to improve existing operations for safety, quality, cost and delivery improvements. Implementation of new processes, including equipment specification, procurement, coordination of installation, process capability, training, process documentation and production startup. Assist is product introduction process with respect to cost estimation, process development, and prototype manufacture Direct production departments using root cause analysis to identify and eliminate production opportunities. Develop training and be able to support other plant initiatives as required.

 

Qualifications         

Must have valid driving privileges Requires good organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to support and mentor Process Technicians, Supervisors, and others. Prefferred four-year Engineering degree OR a two-year Engineering degree with seven years of work experience is required OR no degree with 16 years of relevant experience. Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills specific to manufacturing processes. Must demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to lead the discussion, meeting, project, etc., and communicate across all levels of the organization. Must be able to lead cross-functional teams and manage small to medium projects.
