Job Summary:
Create and maintain work instructions and data in manufacturing systems at site level to optimize manufacturing of large HVAC equipment and subcomponents while meeting regulatory requirements, customer expectations, and business goals.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with multiple cross functional teams to create and manage work instructions related to fabrication, machining, welding, assembly, wiring, and testing of product.Manage and Maintain data in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES-Apriso), Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP-Oracle), and other databases.Develop and test new functions of the MES.Collect and analyze data from MES into actionable information for improving process efficiency.Support new product development, productivity projects and ETO/ DTO by preparing and executing project implementation plans.Support lean initiatives (5S, Rapid Improvement Events, site KPIs, Managing for Daily Improvement, 9 step problem solving, etc.).Qualifications:
Accredited Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Engineering Management, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, similar) strongly preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required1-3 years of experience in manufacturing.Strong MS Excel skills. Other data management experience preferred (SQL, others).Strong root-cause problem solving skills.Strong written and oral communication skills.Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Experience interpreting technical procedures, drawings, wiring diagrams, standard work, FMEA, etc. preferred.ERP or MES/SCADA experience preferred.Graphic Design experience preferred.Coding experience strongly preferred.This role has been designated by the Company as Safety Sensitive.
