This role will prioritize MES expertise and involve close collaboration with our Digital Manufacturing Engineer to support and structure a new manufacturing system expansion, ensuring seamless integration and enhanced production efficiency. In an ideal candidate, we"re looking for hands-on experience with Siemens Simatic IT MES, as well as familiarity with Siemens Teamcenter, SAP, and programming languages such as VBA, SQL, and Python. Key Responsibilities: * Lead efforts in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of MES software systems, with a focus on implementing structured solutions for new system expansions. * Support manufacturing processes by optimizing MES functionality and ensuring its seamless integration with production systems. * Apply technical expertise in mechanics, structural design, and manufacturing principles to support MES applications. * Develop and deploy tools and scripts using VBA, SQL, and Python to enhance MES capabilities and streamline operations. * Perform hands-on work on the production floor to ensure alignment of MES systems with real-time production needs and facilitate process optimization. * Develop and maintain technical documentation, process reports, and operational standards. Qualifications Required: * MES Deployment Experience: Proven experience in implementing and managing new MES systems (Siemens Simatic IT MES highly preferred). * Programming Skills: Proficiency in VBA, SQL, and Python for developing and enhancing system functionality. * Manufacturing Background: Practical experience in a manufacturing or shop environment, with an understanding of process flow and optimization. * Technical Knowledge: Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with manufacturing principles, including design for manufacturability and mechanics of materials. * Detail Orientation: Strong attention to detail and proficiency with MS Office applications. Qualifications Preferred: * Other Software Expertise: Familiarity with Siemens Teamcenter and SAP systems. * Education: M.S. or B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. * Documentation Skills: Experience in creating, updating, and maintaining technical documentation and process standards. * Interpersonal Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with demonstrated technical leadership skills.
