Position Summary
This position is responsible for supporting the Manufacturing areas, including assembly, paint and fabrication, from an engineering standpoint.
 
Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
  Designing and purchasing equipment, tools, jigs, and fixtures. Attending Product Improvement meetings and facilitating the implementation of process improvements. Developing a precise means of management for optimal and cost-effective operations. Developing process flow within the department and all areas your product supports. Lead and provide support for root cause analysis and problem solving of manufacturing quality issues  
Minimum Qualifications
  Five years of manufacturing experience in a similar industry  Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Prior launch experience where capital improvements have been made PFMEA, risk assessments on equipment and safety Must pass any drug screens, background checks and pre-employment tests as applicable  
Preferred Qualifications
  More than 3 years of manufacturing experience in a similar industry   3D CAD experience Six-Sigma certification

  Knowledge of manufacturing processes Effective communication skills Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Proactive thinker Effective verbal and written communication skills Sound analytical skills with a practical balance of “shop floor” experience Self-motivated and self-directed Able to work effectively in a team environment through delegation Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment Must wear Personal Protective Equipment as required  
Job Conditions:        Both office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory environment Subject to noise and temperature changes
