As a Manufacturing Engineer Senior (Level 3), you will play a key role in optimizing production processes and ensuring the highest quality standards for critical aerospace programs, including the F-16, F-35, and C-130.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Provide production floor support to improve sub-assembly build processes, eliminate repetitive defects, and reduce unnecessary costs.
• Create manufacturing plans, read and interpret engineering blueprints, and apply fundamental engineering concepts to production and prototype articles.
• Investigate and resolve design, producibility, and process challenges related to assembly and manufacturing.
• Utilize engineering models and designs to determine optimal assembly sequences and manufacturing approaches.
• Implement technology insertion initiatives to enhance producibility and cost reduction efforts.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to proactively address production issues.
• Mentor early-career engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and process improvement.

• A detail-oriented and highly skilled manufacturing engineer with a strong technical proficiency in fabrication and assembly.
• A problem-solver who can drive production improvements, develop workaround plans, and implement corrective actions.
• A strong communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively with peers, management, and customers.
• A self-motivated professional capable of multitasking and managing multiple concurrent programs.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering (or related field) from an accredited institution.
• Experience with complexities of mechanical assemblies.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and requirements.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Desired Skills:
• Manufacturing Engineering experience in a production environment, focusing on fabrication and assembly.
• Knowledge of design for manufacturing (DFM) concepts and their practical applications.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience with laser tracker systems and related software (preferred Spatial Analyzer).
• Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team-based environment or independently to solve complex manufacturing problems.
• Strong interpersonal skills and verbal/written communication abilities.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
