Join Lockheed Martin’s F-35 Manufacturing Engineering team and play a critical role in improving manufacturing quality and efficiency. As the SRR (Shop Replaceable Repair) Reduction Initiative Lead, you will drive initiatives to reduce Structures, Seam, and Composite defects, ensuring the highest standards of aircraft production.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Analyzing and identifying systemic defect trends related to aircraft structures, seams, and composites.
• Developing business cases to secure funding for corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Leading cross-functional teams to implement corrective action plans, ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
• Managing projects focused on defect reduction, tracking performance metrics, and reporting progress to stakeholders.
• Providing technical expertise in aircraft structures, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions.
• Collaborating with production teams and leadership to integrate defect reduction strategies into broader program objectives.

Basic Qualifications:
• Aircraft structure repair experience
• Production environment experience
• Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering/STEM
Desired Skills:
• F35 QAR Repair Experience
• Facilitation proficiency briefing Senior Mgmt/Customers
• Corrective Action/ICA/RCCA training/experience
• Green/Black Belt certified
• Data analysis experience
• Production floor experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
