Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manufacturing processes, tooling and fixture design, and lean manufacturing techniques. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities and the opportunity to work in both office and manufacturing floor environments.

ResponsibilitiesDesign and modify tooling and fixturing.Utilize lean tools to improve processes.Review new designs for producibility.Support the manufacturing floor with process-related questions.Create and maintain process documentation.Implement engineering changes.Process and update work order documentation.Essential Skills5+ years of manufacturing experience.Experience working in settings such as CNC (mills/lathes), grinding, EDM, tube bending, brazing, fabrication, press brakes, welding, and deburring.Proficiency in SolidWorks.Experience with process drawings, tooling, and fixture design.Lean Manufacturing experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsIdeal candidates will have worked their way up from the shop floor.Work Environment

The role involves 80% office work and 20% time on the manufacturing floor. The facility houses 220 employees, including a dedicated engineering team of four. This position offers the opportunity to take on a variety of tasks and responsibilities, avoiding a narrow focus on a single aspect of manufacturing.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
