Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Training Coordinator to develop, implement, and oversee training programs for spacecraft manufacturing. This role ensures that all manufacturing personnel are properly trained in processes, procedures, and industry standards, promoting efficiency, quality, and compliance with regulatory and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities: Training Program Development & Implementation: • Design, develop, and implement training programs for spacecraft manufacturing personnel, focusing on assembly, integration, testing, and quality control. • Create training materials, including manuals, work instructions, and hands-on demonstrations. • Develop and manage onboarding training for new hires, ensuring smooth integration into the manufacturing environment. • Compliance & Standards Adherence: • Ensure training aligns with industry standards such as AS9100, NASA, and DoD requirements. • Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies, including OSHA guidelines. • Work with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure training programs address evolving process changes and requirements. Training Delivery & Evaluation: • Conduct hands-on training sessions, classroom-style training, and online learning modules. • Evaluate employee proficiency through assessments, practical demonstrations, and certification programs. • Identify skill gaps and recommend additional training to enhance workforce capabilities. Process Improvement & Documentation: • Continuously improve training methodologies and materials based on feedback and best practices. • Maintain detailed training records, certifications, and compliance documentation. • Develop metrics to measure training effectiveness and report on workforce readiness. Cross-Functional Collaboration: • Partner with manufacturing, quality assurance, and engineering teams to ensure training aligns with production goals. • Work with HR and leadership to identify career development opportunities for manufacturing employees. • Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives through targeted training. Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent working experience , manufacturing, education, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. • 3+ years of experience in training coordination or manufacturing operations, preferably in aerospace or spacecraft manufacturing. • Strong understanding of spacecraft manufacturing processes, including assembly, integration, and testing. • Experience with AS9100, NASA, or DoD standards in a manufacturing environment. • Proficiency in training development tools, learning management systems (LMS), and digital training platforms. • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment with shifting priorities.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
