Manufacturing Engineering Associate Manager

Duties

•        Managing manufacturing engineering services such as cell management, process development, project management, and process validation, to support end of line manufacturing processes     
          specific to cleaning and packaging;

•        Plan and review work assignments for staff and coaching and developing staff;

•        Develop and improve end of line processes (cleaning, upgrade, & packaging) using process validation and continuous improvement methodology;

•        Solve a variety of complex process and product performance issues;

•        Develop and implement plan to set new process performance and quality standards: scrap percentage, perishable costs, lead time reductions, and customer service issues;

•        Pursue and monitor corrective and preventive actions for applicable processes;

•        Develop and maintain engineering budgets for capital projects and manufacturing costs;

•        Conduct manufacturing, development, and quality process/procedures;

•        Assist department efforts in audits, both internal and external, to demonstrate compliance with GMP, ISO, and MDD regulations; and

•        Monitor manufacture performance using quality and statistical tools.

Responsibilities - Education and Experience

                          Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or foreign equivalent.

Must have 5 years of experience in the job offered or related position.

Requires experience with all of the following:

Quality System Regulation and Associated regulations and standards;

PLM (Product Life Cycle Management) & ERP;

Control procedures, including Change Management System, Nonconformance Reports, Engineering Specifications, Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA), and Work Instructions.

Travel Expectations

100% on site - Up to 10% domestic travel required.
