Project Manager

Your role and responsibilities

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.The work model for the role is: onsiteThis role is contributing to the Electrification Business.You will be mainly accountable for:• Obtain feedback from critical stakeholders involved in the new product or the process improvement• Work with cross-functional teams to execute projects on time and on budget• Apply lean manufacturing, six sigma, and other manufacturing best practices to new products in order to improve their efficiency and eliminate waste• Find and pitch improvement ideas, and then execute ideas if approved into a full project• Document any best practices discovered and/or standards implemented• Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues, and the business.

Qualifications for the role

\tCurrently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing engineering, or related field, in the United States. \tIntern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite. \tMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future. \tUtilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions\tEffectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines\tDemonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality\tCollaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress
