The successful candidate will lead the manufacturing engineering team in supporting new product launches, capital requests and implementation, facility enhancements, and improvements to truck assembly safety, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, well organized and possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Manage daily activities of the manufacturing engineering team.
• Manage the development of equipment specifications and requirements for the plant.
• Develop and drive a strong culture of high performance, excellent quality, and teamwork.
• Review major product changes and provide input to Design Engineering on manufacturability and develop manufacturing processes.
• Identify and coordinate capital investment opportunities.
• Develop and execute departmental goals and objectives including department budget.
• Continuously improve the production process through improvements to equipment, tools, procedures, or other factors impacting safety, quality, and production capability.
• Responsible for installation and rearrangement of plant and production equipment ensuring projects are completed on-time and within budget.
• Perform other projects and assignments as required.
• Ensure compliance with Corporate and Division policies, procedures, and standards.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering required (Mechanical or Manufacturing/Industrial preferred).
• Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCad, ProE, etc.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, work under pressure, and make decisions independently.

The salary range for this position is $110,600 to $157,500 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for a full range of benefit options listed above.
