Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Job Summary
• This role is responsible for leading a team of individual contributors, overseeing engineering solutions and project coordination for manufacturing. The role manages multiple projects by applying advanced subject matter knowledge, and ensures resource allocation, schedules, and costs align with goals and organizational roadmaps. The role maintains relationships internal and external stakeholders, drives process improvement initiatives, and champions operational excellence in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of highly motivated engineers in manufacturing ink supplies for different Large Format market segments to meet NPI and line transfer goals.Drive existing tooling to derive productivity gains year on year, with automation and connectivity systems. Have sound knowledge and good fundamentals in our HP Thermal Inkjet Technology. Form great partnerships with various representatives from different HP business units. Own yearly and long-term planning on budgeting. You will be responsible to track, report, and meet the capital asset spend $, startup $ and expenses by the fiscal period to meet ESC pen cost. Engage, motivate and inspire the team to excel beyond basic expectations. Establish a strong winning culture, create the resilient can-do attitude with the team. Perform talent management responsibilities including recruitment, performance management, coaching and career development.

 
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 7-10 years of job-related experience or 5-7 years of management experience, preferably in engineering design and solutions, or a related field.

• Demonstrated solid technical competence and judgment.

• Program Management fundamental.

• Experience working in Operations or Manufacturing environment is a must.

• Existing People manager or Expert engineer is preferred.
