International is looking for a qualified Manufacturing Engineering Manager based in San Antonio, TX to manage a team of Manufacturing Engineers to ensure equipment is up-to-date, functional, and well-maintained.

 

The Manufacturing Engineering Manager is responsible for leading and managing the engineering team in the development, optimization, and maintenance of manufacturing processes. This role focuses on improving production efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness by driving continuous improvement initiatives, developing and implementing innovative manufacturing solutions, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, product development, and supply chain, to ensure seamless integration of new products and technologies into the production environment. Additionally, the Manufacturing Engineering Manager will mentor and develop engineering talent, allocate resources effectively, and oversee the successful execution of manufacturing projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities Manages a team of manufacturing engineers to maintain existing tooling and equipment to support production.Engages with AME team to ensure tooling and equipment, product and processes are optimal to integrate into the current production process.Identifies opportunities to improve processes and assigns projects to engineers for execution.Contribute to internal SOW's for projectsDevelop, monitor, and maintain dimensional integrity of the product and processEvaluate and manage external and internal products and processes to ensure dimensional integrity is met for all components delivered and processed through the STX facility.
