Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead our manufacturing engineering team. The ideal candidate will develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to optimize production efficiency, quality, and safety. This role requires a proactive leader who can drive continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to optimize production efficiency, quality, and safety.Lead and manage the manufacturing engineering team, providing guidance, mentoring, and training to ensure the team’s success and professional growth.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineering, production, and quality assurance, to develop and implement new products or processes.Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall operational performance.Monitor and analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards to maintain a safe and environmentally friendly work environment.Manage and oversee the implementation of new equipment, technologies, and automation systems to enhance manufacturing capabilities and efficiency.Develop and manage the manufacturing engineering budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost control.Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source and evaluate new technologies, materials, and equipment to improve manufacturing processes and reduce costs.Drive the implementation of a quality program to track and document scrap, rework, and RMA root causes to drive continuous improvements to the production process and reduce the cost of poor quality.Partner with HR and Operations to revive/implement a training program to reduce turnover, improve quality, and increase productivity.Essential SkillsManufacturing engineering expertise.Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent degree.5 years of relevant experience.Experience with machinery.Experience with PLCs or automation systems.Familiarity with the manufacturing realm.Additional Skills & QualificationsCoachable - provide examples as to how you have been coachable in the past.History of experience in a similar role.Work Environment

You will primarily work out of the Lennox site. This role offers a dynamic work environment where you can design in the morning, build in the afternoon, and test at the end of the day. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
