Join Lockheed Martin Aeronautics as a Manufacturing Engineering Associate supporting F\-35 Final Assembly in Fort Worth, TX\. This entry\-level position offers an exciting opportunity to work on one of the world’s most advanced aircraft programs\. In this role, you will support production engineering efforts to ensure timely issue resolution, process improvement, and build cycle optimization\.
This is a 1st shift position with a 4\-10A schedule—a typical workweek of Monday through Thursday\.
**What You Will Be Doing**
This position will be assigned to the F\-35 Final Assembly Production Engineering team\. The successful candidate will have the experience necessary to operate independently as a Manufacturing Engineer\. This position is seeking a person with skillsets geared towards aircraft harness and electrical work\. An individual with experience troubleshooting, reviewing, and/or creating build plans with said electrical skillset is needed due to the volume and type of work in final assembly\.
Actions include but are not limited to: assisting with a variety of non\-conformances, designing and troubleshooting tooling, root cause / corrective action, and coordinating with design engineering\. Position will also require working in an office environment maintaining build documentation such as Manufacturing Plans, Tooling Requirements Forms, and Corrective Action Plans\.

**Basic Qualifications:**
• Prior experience working with electrical and/or wiring harnesses on F\-35 or other airframes required
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and principles
• Ability to understand aircraft safety and FOD requirements
**Desired Skills:**
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree\. Considered career, or journey, level\.
• Demonstrated proficiency in 3D modeling systems, such as VAS, CATIA, or Teamcenter
• Demonstrated hands on capability on aircraft harness and wiring troubleshooting
• Demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skills required in a team environment
• Demonstrated proficiency with MS office, Excel, PowerPoint, etc\.

**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
