About the position: We’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Technical Specialist to assist engineers in troubleshooting products. You will: * Collect data and assist in its evaluation. * Interpret data and recommend a course of action. * Process tool requests to support production needs. * Work with tool designers and builders to develop, prove out, and implement new jigs and fixtures for fabrication, welding, and assembly. * May assist with debugging new equipment, designs, processes, and procedures. * Assist with deviation and change requests as appropriate to support production. * Assist with creation and maintenance of documentation of general manufacturing processes and best practices. * Provide rework instructions to correct non-conforming materials and bring it back within drawing and design tolerances. * Work with manufacturing engineers to establish effective routings and consumption points which allow for an accurate flow of parts throughout the facility. * Process Kaizen requests to support continuous improvement on the factory floor. About the schedule: This position is first shift and will work Monday - Friday 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. OT may be required to support Operations Production Plan (i.e. after 2:30pm Monday-Friday and Saturdays). About you: * Experience with specialized test equipment, AutoCAD, Pro Engineer Software, gauges, meters, and hand tools. * Specialized knowledge of math and physics or basic engineering principles. It would be great if you had: * 2 + years of relevant technical experience in fabrication, welding, or assembly * Associates degree in a technical or engineering field. About the total compensation package: Wage - $19.00 - $28.00 per hour. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
