You will be of a highly focused team of Engineers and Technicians within the Manufacturing Engineering department whose work leads the implementation of the latest manufacturing technologies and introducing the latest machines. **What You Will Do:** As **Manufacturing Engineering Technician,** your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: + Driving manufacturing best practices into the production environment. + Creation of automation project management tracking. Inc. establishing project templates, creation of dashboard for KPI tracking etc. + Develop and maintain project templates using Project Management software (Microsoft Project) + Complete root cause analysis for quality & inefficiency improvements to implement robust process containment measures. + Facilitate the development of manufacturing process solutions work with functional teams, using a range of tool e.g. process flows, PFMEA’s, control plans. Promote lean and quality as a focus within the business. + CAD software utilisation; Design of jigs, fixtures, updating floorplans and completing virtual builds. + Adhere to the company's Health and Safety policy and safe working practices. + Adhere to Caterpillar's Values in Action: Integrity, Commitment, Excellence, Teamwork, & Sustainability. **NB.** The panel cannot make assumptions when shortlisting therefore please demonstrate your qualifications and experience on your CV relevant to the criteria outlined.
