The Manufacturing Facility and Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities and processes within the plant, ensuring that machinery, equipment, and infrastructure operate efficiently, safely, and without interruption. This role involves managing the system and product factory maintenance team, implementing cross-factory maintenance procedures, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and optimizing production performance through proactive maintenance practices..
Your role:
Facility & Maintenance Strategy
Develop and execute a facility management and maintenance strategy aligned with business goals.
Oversee and ownership of all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for maintenance, ensuring coordination across departments like R&D, Operations, and RE.
Manage external vendor relationships to ensure quality maintenance services at optimal costs
Cross-Department Coordination
Serve as the POC between Real Estate and Operations, ensuring smooth communication.
Maintain critical machines and facility operations, such as nitrogen supply, air conditioning, and compressed air (CDA), to meet production demands.
Team Development & Management
Create and manage maintenance schedules for all production systems and machinery.
Build and lead a skilled team of maintenance technicians, providing training and motivation to meet operational needs.
Productivity & Improvement Projects
Initiate and oversee projects to improve productivity and operational infrastructure.
Improve predictive maintenance capabilities in the factory with emphasis of automation
Track key metrics to assess maintenance performance and identify areas for improvement including incorporate special capabilities such as IIOT and SPC.
Taking the facility and operation machines and procedures to the next level of optimization and efficiency.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations in all maintenance activities.
Conduct safety audits and enforce compliance among team members.
You're the right fit if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience as Facility Management / relevant discipline.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CFM, MCR) are preferred.
3+ years of experience in Property and/or Facility Management with a broad knowledge of maintenance functions and best practices, including Real Estate tools and reporting.
Finance, budgeting, and project management (planning, budgeting, and management).
Supplier management and contracting.
Process excellence and change management.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
