Manufacturing/Inventory Specialist
Description: Hourly rate + TONS of overtime 100% onsite in Carson, CA We are looking for someone with warehouse experience, excitement for growth, ability to multitask and wear multiple hats and who has experience in inputting data and navigating Microsoft Suite, especially Excel. The Manufacturing Clerk is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by conducting administrative and clerical tasks. As the Manufacturing Clerk, you will work closely with respective SMEs between departments and third-party logistics to oversee all production records, validate warehouse inventory accuracy, prepare work order documentation, and verify inbound & outbound inventory transfers. Job Responsibilities 1. Data Entry and Record Keeping: o Enter and maintain production data in relevant systems – i.e. Oracle. o Update and maintain accurate production records, including daily production trackers, work order entries, and inventory reports. 2. Inventory Management: o Monitor and track inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished products. o Coordinate with the 3PL and site leadership team to ensure timely delivery of materials. o Conduct routine inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies. 3. Documentation and Reporting: o Distribute production schedules, work orders, and additional relevant documentation to manufacturing leads. o Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company and department expectations. 4. Communication and Coordination: o Serve as a liaison between the production floor, management, and other departments. o Must have strong written & verbal communication skills to escalate all changes in production schedules, material shortages, and discrepancies to relevant stakeholders. o Assist in coordinating the workflow between different production teams and departments. 5. Administrative Duties: o Assist in maintaining a clean and organized production office environment. o Provide general administrative support to the production team, responding to emails, filing, and providing investigative details to support the implementation of corrective actions About Aston Carter: Aston Carter provides world-class corporate talent solutions to thousands of clients across the globe.
