The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for leading, supervising, and directing manufacturing efforts and support staff within the production area to ensure customer needs are met. This role involves training, developing, and motivating the workforce towards continuous quality improvement, teamwork, a positive and safe working environment, and cost-effective operations. The Manufacturing Manager leads people and projects through the company's Values, Core Behaviors, and Danaher Business System (DBS) tools and processes. This position reports to the Operations Director and is part of the Bioprocess BU located in Cytiva Fajardo and will be an on-site role. What you will do: + Maintains manufacturing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities. + Participates in Kaizens planning and execution. Use SQDIP boards to challenge and develop Group Leaders and associates. Uses PSP and other DBS tools to detect and solve problems. + Provides ongoing communication to management and engineering on all manufacturing issues within the production area. Who you are: + Bachelor’s degree in administration, engineering, or related area. + Five (5) years in supervision in a Medical Device or Pharmaceutical environment. + Good oral and written communication skills (English and Spanish). + Ability to lead and motivate team efforts to accomplish goals. Results oriented with the ability to balance other business considerations. + Demonstrate strong supervisory techniques, teamwork oriented and leadership skills + Excellent analytical thinking and DBS knowledge (Kaizen, PSP, 5S, Standard Work and other DBS tools). + Computer Literate, Electronic System knowledge (Workday, Veeva, E-time), MS applications Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role + Based on business needs it might be required to travel to other manufacturing plants within Danaher.
