The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a **Manufacturing Manager** to join the **PAC-3 Program** located in **Huntsville, AL** . **Position Responsibilities:** + Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines. + Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies. + Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. + Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. + Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. + Manages, develops and motivates employees. **This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.** **This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)** **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):** + 3+ years experience leading projects and/or teams + 3+ years experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment + 3+ years experience using Lean+ and/or Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) tools + 3+ years experience developing and executing strategies to meet organization objectives + 3+ years experience implementing lean methodologies and productivity improvements + 3+ years experience in developing solutions to a wide range of complex technical problems, requiring ingenuity and innovation. **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):** + Bachelor’s degree or higher. + Experience in the Aerospace & Defense Industry and/or the military + Experience managing a Collective Bargaining Unit (CBU) / hourly union-represented workforce. + Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership **Shift:** This position is for variable shift-Selected candidate may work a 4x10’s or 3x12’s weekend schedule. Schedule determination will occur after hire, but discussed during the hiring process. **Relocation:** Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
