Role Overview:
The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for the oversight and coordination of the production team’s activities to ensure efficient processes, adherence to safety and quality standards, and timely delivery of products. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to manage resources effectively.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures, which includes conducting regular safety audits and training sessions.Maintain high-quality standards by monitoring production processes and implementing quality control measures.Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any quality issues.Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement among team members.Plan, organize, and supervise daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets.Monitor production schedules and adjust resources as needed to ensure timely delivery.Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any production-related issues.Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production workers, which includes conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to team members.Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement Lean manufacturing principles.Participate in Kaizen events and other continuous improvement initiatives.Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, quality, and safety.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 7 years of experience in manufacturing)Minimum of 3 years of experience leading people within a manufacturing environmentPreferred Qualifications:
