Manufacturing Manager (Sonix)

As the Manufacturing Manager, you will supervise and manage and direct the day to day activities of the Sonix Manufacturing teams. Support achievement of manufacturing KPI targets in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Productivity through daily management and continuous improvement initiatives. Manage, implement and improved manufacturing aspects of existing and new product launches, including process validation and automation, where applicable. **Responsibilities:** + Leads small teams and the Daily Management process by identifying issues, resolving cell productivity problems, and escalating concerns to upper management when necessary. + Manage both permanent and temporary associates including interviewing, hiring, counseling, and discipline. + Coordinate manufacturing team support to meet and exceed customer expectations on quality and delivery + Write and give performance appraisals, organize training and development efforts, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. + Staff work cells and schedule assignments to ensure quality, maximum output, and to meet established goals. + Drive standard work, single piece flow, and support FBS (Fortive Business System) lean manufacturing initiatives. + Drive proactive Safety culture by cultivating near miss reporting and other continuous improvement suggestions. + Lead daily and weekly regular communication meetings with direct reports. + Work closely with Customer Service department to expedite orders and meet customer expectations. + Ensure the kanban process is functioning within department. + Perform training on product assembly and tests in assigned area. + Reconcile time and attendance program daily. + Other duties as assigned **QUALIFICATIONS:** + Minimum of an Associate's degree in a technical field, or equivalent + Minimum 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment or similar position is required. + Supervisory or team leadership experience + Experience using lean systems or six sigma processes in a manufacturing environment preferred. + Strong analytical and data driven problem solving skills + May be assigned various projects and responsibilities at the sole discretion of the Director of Operations. **Why Join Sonix Inc.** + Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in the semiconductor industry. + Collaborative and innovative work environment. + Competitive compensation and benefits package. + This is a mid-level management role with career growth and development opportunities. **PHYSICAL DEMANDS / ENVIRONMENT** + The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
