We are currently seeking candidates for a 1st shift Material Handler in the Manufacturing Department.  Hours will be 7:00am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday.

 The Material Handler is responsible for the following:

Demonstrates the ability to coordinate work activities with that of others as a cooperative member of a TeamAbility to operate equipment requiring specialized knowledge of processResponsible for safe and efficient manual organization of items onto skidIs able to plan and carryout movement or flow of materials or products in a productive manner Responsible for safe, responsible equipment operation and work practices of self and others                          Assists in all housekeeping efforts and keeps back pad clean and organized                                                 Responsible for accurate production reports and associated paperworkSupplies and supports manufacturing staging areas with needed materials as listed on shop orders                              Responsible for quality inspection of goods to ensure that product is packaged per specifications                                              Promotes and follows all lift truck safety guidelines and procedures and responsible for maintaining certificationPromotes and follows all safety guidelines and proceduresRecommends safety improvements as needed                       Performs various other duties as necessary

Pay Range: Starting at $18 an hour.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. 

High School graduate / GED with 1 year of prior machine operating experienceMust be experienced in driving motorized equipment (Low-Lift/Forklift Required)Must be able to understand and carry out oral and/or written instructions.  

PLEASE NOTE: Our new hire orientations are held the first and third Monday of each month from 8am-5pm. Our expectation is all new hires must attend new hire orientation before they can begin their new role, regardless of shift.
