Tool & Process Engineer is responsible for the tooling process development for new vehicle programs including design and implementation. The person in the position works closely with numerous related departments within the organization including Industrial Engineering, Ergonomics, GA and the manufacturing plants.
This position will work closely with manufacturing plant skilled trades and production team members to improve performance and quality processes in the General Assembly department. The GA Tooling Engineer will support General Assembly Process Engineering in Stellantis Production Way (SPW) initiatives such as workplace organization, logistics and focus problem solving.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in a related technical discipline and 3 years of experience or 10 years’ experience in the area of General Assembly system integration and support Strong knowledge of Teamcenter, AMPs, and MEDDS Ability to manage tooling implementation Budgeting experience Being Creative and innovative in tooling design EOE / Disability / VeteranAt Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit and business needs.
