Manufacturing Mixer operator

We are currently seeking a **Mixer Operator** to oversee the preparation and mixing of doughs, batters, and other ingredients, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to food safety standards in Bath, ME. If you have manufacturing experience , we will train you to do this position.
**Position Summary:**
The **Mixer Operator** is responsible for operating and monitoring mixing equipment in the bakery. The role involves following precise recipes, ensuring the correct measurements, and mixing ingredients. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for baking, and an understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
**Monday through Friday, 6am-2:30pm**
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Oversee the preparation and mixing of doughs, batters, and other ingredients according to specific recipes and production schedules.
+ Operate and monitor mixing equipment to ensure consistency and quality of finished products.
+ Accurately measure and add ingredients to ensure proper formulations.
+ Ensure all products meet quality standards for texture, taste, and appearance.
+ Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation practices.
+ Work closely with other bakery staff to meet production schedules and quality expectations.
+ Ensure the proper storage of ingredients and maintain stock levels.
**Qualifications:**
+ Must be able to read and understand recipes.
+ Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment preferred but not required.
+ Ability to operate large mixers and other baking equipment.
+ Strong attention to detail, ensuring precise measurements and high-quality results.
+ Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
+ Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency.
+ Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

**Pay Details:** $19.00 to $20.00 per hour
