Manufacturing Operations Specilist
**Job Description Summary** Perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Engineering associated with the manufacturing process. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.). Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment. Includes Manufacturing Engineers. + Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market. + Operate and maintain the HPLC equipment. + Operate and maintain the synthesis equipment. + Create and develop batch records and documents associated with the manufacturing process. + Work closely with engineering and maintenance to improve the manufacturing processes. + Develop and implement scale up activities for the manufacturing process. + Perform and oversee manufacturing operations for validation. + Support new manufacturing projects. **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 5 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing). + Minimum 1 years’ relevant experience. + Strong oral and written communication skills. + Ability to analyze and resolve problems. + Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. + Proven project management skills. **Desired Characteristics** + Experience with Empower 3 software. + Experience with Manufacturing software. + Experience working with HPLC systems.
