What will you do?
Accomplish Manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations, implementing process and procedures.Complete production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, establishing priorities, supervising progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results.Maintain staff by hiring, training, and developing for personal growth.Ensure systems and consumables are meeting the highest quality by establishing and implementing standards.Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.Perform hands on assembly, testing, and training of personnel as required.Participate in cross-functional projects for new products and processes.Drives Practical Process Improvement (PPI) thinking to assignments continuously driving improvement.Keys to Success:
EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent experience is required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
ExperienceMinimum of 3 years' experience working in a manufacturing environment or related fast paced, impactful environment where leadership is required.
Experienced people leader.
Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesUnderstanding and experience with ERP systems to drive efficient and controlled Manufacturing.Knowledge of key technologies including press brakes, lasers and turrets for sheet metal fabrication, etc.Experience with 5S, Quality Process Control, and Lean Manufacturing.Experience in improving the quality, efficiency, and cost of manufacturing.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
