**Job Title: Manufacturing Operator** **Job Description** As a Manufacturing Operator, you will be part of a team that makes a real-world impact by helping customers find cures for cancer, protect the environment, and ensure food safety. This exciting opportunity within our Microbiology Division involves working on products that truly make a difference in a manufacturing setting. You will be responsible for assisting with the manufacturing process of agars, including loading products, checking volumes, maintaining quality, and more. **Responsibilities** + Efficiently and safely operate assigned machinery, perform simple maintenance, and report malfunctioning equipment immediately to the Supervisor or Lead. + Set up and adjust machines to run at different sizes. + Obtain correct materials for operation needs from the warehouse or staging area. + Organize production flow, ensure materials are available, estimate progress of the line, and schedule breaks in accordance with the production time schedule in a safe manner. + Accurately document and check personal work for quality and compliance, monitor products for defects, and assist with the inventory process. + Complete production assignments in a timely manner and in accordance with departmental schedules. **Essential Skills** + Production experience (3 months preferred but not required). + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (experience in production, fast food, retail, or restaurant is acceptable). + Good attitude and growth mindset. + Ability to understand and implement directions. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proven track record of working at a fast pace. + Willingness to take direction. + Ability to stand for long periods. **Why Work Here?** We offer a great company culture, long-term opportunities, and good benefits once hired on. Due to the nature of our pharmaceutical manufacturing, we maintain high standards for cleanliness and regulatory compliance. Each production line has clear instructions posted for PPE and room rules. The site is well-organized and well-run. While supervisors can be tough initially, they are dedicated to supporting and promoting contractors who prove themselves.
