Job Description
As a Machine Operator in the Monolithic department, you will work in a team environment and operate heavy manufacturing equipment. You will be required to communicate effectively and adapt to a lean, fast-changing work environment. Your role will involve interfacing with computer-controlled systems, frequent troubleshooting of mechanical and computer equipment issues, accurate data entry, and following written instructions using the shop floor computer system. Additionally, team members participate in meetings, give and receive feedback, send and read emails, and engage in housekeeping and safety activities.
ResponsibilitiesOperate heavy manufacturing equipment in the Monolithic department.Work and communicate effectively in a lean and fast-changing environment.Interface with computer-controlled systems.Troubleshoot mechanical and computer equipment issues.Accurately enter data and follow written instructions using the shop floor computer system.Participate in team activities, including meetings, feedback sessions, email correspondence, housekeeping, and safety activities.Operate wire braiding machine, electrical crimping/sparking station, and reel machine.Perform machine operation and data entry tasks.Essential SkillsBasic computer literacy.Mechanical skills.Ability to work in a team environment.Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and computer equipment issues.Attention to detail.Ability to adapt to a lean manufacturing environment.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is loud and industrial. You will wear goggles and earplugs on the floor and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. You will frequently pull, push, grab, bend, stoop, or kneel, and be able to stand for an 8-hour shift. The role requires clear and comfortable viewing, interpreting, and processing of information within the department, and using a computer monitor for extended periods during normal working hours.
