Job Title: Manufacturing Operator - Swing Shift

Job Description

As a Machine Operator for the Monolithic department, you will work in a team environment operating heavy manufacturing equipment. You must communicate effectively and adapt to a fast-changing, lean environment. This role requires interfacing with computer-controlled systems and frequent troubleshooting of both mechanical and computer equipment issues. You will need to enter data accurately and follow written instructions using the shop floor computer system. Team members are also expected to participate in meetings, give and receive feedback, send and read emails, and engage in housekeeping and safety activities.

ResponsibilitiesOperate heavy manufacturing equipment in the Monolithic department.Communicate and participate effectively in a lean, fast-changing environment.Interface with computer-controlled systems.Troubleshoot mechanical and computer equipment issues.Accurately enter data and follow written instructions using the shop floor computer system.Participate in team activities, including meetings, feedback sessions, emails, housekeeping, and safety activities.Essential SkillsBasic computer literacy.Ability to work in a team environment.Mechanical aptitude.Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.Data entry skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with SAP or any ERP system preferred, but not required.6+ months of work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.Computer skills (Excel, Outlook) would be an asset.Motivated by challenges and problem-solving.History of exceeding expectations in a fast-paced, customer-driven organization.Ability to participate in LEAN exercises.Exceptional attention to detail.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You will be working in a loud, industrial manufacturing environment where goggles and earplugs are required on the floor. You must occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and frequently pull, push, grab, bend, stoop, or kneel. The ability to stand for an 8-hour shift and use a computer monitor for extended periods is required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Redwood City, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00
