Manufacturing Operator/associate
Job Title: Manufacturing Operator - Graveyard Shift

Job Description

As a Machine Operator in the Monolithic department, you will work in a team environment and operate heavy manufacturing equipment. This role requires the ability to work, communicate, and participate in a lean and fast-changing environment. You will interface with computer-controlled systems and frequently troubleshoot both mechanical and computer equipment issues. Accuracy in data entry and following written instructions using the shop floor computer system is essential. Team members are expected to participate in meetings, give and receive feedback, send and read e-mails, and engage in housekeeping and safety activities.

ResponsibilitiesOperate wire braiding machines, electrical crimping/sparking stations, and reel machines.Perform data entry accurately using the shop floor computer system.Troubleshoot mechanical and computer equipment issues.Participate in team activities, including meetings, feedback sessions, and safety activities.Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Essential SkillsBasic computer literacy.Ability to work in a fast-paced, lean manufacturing environment.Experience with machine operation and data entry.Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with SAP or any ERP system is preferred but not required.6+ months of work experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.Computer skills (Excel, Outlook) are an asset.Capable of participating in LEAN exercises.Exceptional attention to detail.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You will work in a loud, industrial manufacturing environment where you will need to wear goggles and earplugs. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and frequently pull, push, grab, bend, stoop, or kneel. You must be able to stand for an 8-hour shift and use a computer monitor for extended periods during normal working hours.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Redwood City, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.30 - $25.30
