Manufacturing Operator - Graveyard Shift

Job Description

The Machine Operator will work in a team environment and operate manufacturing equipment. The role requires the ability to work, communicate, and participate effectively in a lean and fast-changing environment. This position involves interfacing with computer-controlled systems, frequent troubleshooting of both mechanical and computer equipment issues, accurate data entry, and following written instructions using the shop floor computer system. Team members are also expected to participate in team activities, including meetings, giving and receiving feedback, sending and reading emails, housekeeping, and safety activities.

Responsibilities

Operate manufacturing equipment 

Work and communicate effectively in a team-oriented, lean, and fast-changing environment.

Interface with computer-controlled systems and troubleshoot mechanical and computer equipment issues.

Enter data accurately and follow written instructions using the shop floor computer system.

Participate in team activities, including meetings, feedback sessions, email communication, housekeeping, and safety activities.

Work Environment

The position is in a loud, industrial manufacturing environment where goggles and earplugs are required on the floor. 

Occasionally, you must be able to lift 40 lbs. and frequently pull, push, grab, bend, stoop, or kneel. 

The role requires the ability to stand for an 8-hour shift

View, interpret, and process information within the department

Extended periods of computer monitor use during normal working hours are also required.

Location:

Redwood City, CA

Shift & Pay: 

Day Shift: 6am - 2:30pm

Day Pay: $22.00

Swing Shift: 2:15pm - 10:45pm

Swing Pay: $24.42 

Grave Shift: 10:30pm - 6:30am

Grave Pay: $25.30 (Paid for lunch break!) 

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.30 - $25.30
