Job Title: Manufacturing Operator - Swing

Job Description

As a Machine Operator in the Monolithic department, you will work in a team environment operating heavy manufacturing equipment. You will need to communicate effectively and adapt to a lean, fast-changing environment. Your role will require interaction with computer-controlled systems, frequent troubleshooting of both mechanical and computer equipment issues, and accurate data entry following written instructions using the shop floor computer system. Team members are expected to participate in team activities such as meetings, feedback sessions, email communication, housekeeping, and safety activities.

ResponsibilitiesOperate wire braiding machine, electrical crimping/sparking station, and Reel machine.Enter data accurately and follow written instructions using the shop floor computer system.Troubleshoot mechanical and computer equipment issues.Participate in team meetings, provide and receive feedback, and handle email communication.Engage in housekeeping and safety activities.Essential SkillsProduction and mechanical skills.Basic computer literacy.Ability to work in a fast-paced, lean manufacturing environment.Detail-oriented with exceptional attention to detail.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in manufacturing preferred (6+ months).Familiarity with SAP or any ERP system is an asset but not required.Computer skills (Excel, Outlook) would be an asset.Motivated by challenges and problem-solving.Capable of participating in LEAN exercises.Flexibility to manage an ever-changing workflow.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You will be working in a loud, industrial manufacturing environment where safety goggles and earplugs are required. The role involves occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs and frequent physical activities such as pulling, pushing, grabbing, bending, stooping, or kneeling. You must be able to stand for an 8-hour shift and comfortably use a computer monitor for extended periods during normal working hours.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00
