Manufacturing Ops Program Manager (MPM)

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

The Manufacturing Program Manager (MPM) represents Supply Chain Operations (SCO) to release new products and lead end-to-end product lifecycle from introduction to decline. The MPM leads the SCO team to drive overall performance improvement of Quality, Cost, Delivery and Risk mitigation. Other manufacturing-related projects that may be assigned include program managing sustaining product engineering changes, process development or improvements, or representing the organization to support cross-functional initiatives.

Projects vary in scope from simple to complex, either CM or ODM based designs. Focus is on leading the team to deliver on time, at the lowest cost, with quality. 

Key Responsibilities

Represent supply chain aspects of product through entire lifecycle with support from Product Line Management (PLM), Engineering, and other functions to ensure Supply Chain/manufacturing requirements are metIdentify and lead cross-functional SCO extended team members to identify, communicate and mitigate issues and risks, develop schedules and provide deliverables and documentation.Work with key internal customers to develop supply chain strategy to handle products and lead the cross-functional project team to ensure execution is aligned with the overall business objectivesWork closely with PLM, Finance, Supply Chain, and other functions to drive analytics, metrics, process improvements and visualization to measure product portfolio performance and influence product roadmap discussionLead day to day program activities, including setting expectations, providing results, communicating progress, balancing priorities /interdependencies, and driving resolution of issues and roadblocksCommunicate requirements and proactively supervise the progress, report project status and issues to internal partners, management, and extended teamSupport the development and roll out of SCO processes related to NPI (New Product Introduction) and Product Lifecycle Management, create new process map and other documents (procedures, work instruction, checklist, templates, etc.) when needed

Technical / Functional Knowledge

NPI process, phase gates and Product Lifecycle ManagementAdvanced Microsoft Office apps (MS project, Excel macros, Powerpoint, Sharepoint)Tableau, Metrics Dashboards and Data Visualization is a highly preferred

Work Experience

5 years of Product Management or Program Management experienceTechnical, materials experience a plusPrefer experience in EMS and OEM Manufacturing and Design environment respectively in the field of Program Management, Production Management.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree or equivalentAn MBA degree is a plusCertifications, Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI, and/or Six Sigma certification is a plus

Minimum Salary: $117,600.00

Maximum Salary:$169,050.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $117,600.00 and $169,050.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
