Manufacturing Planner/Scheduler
**CTG is seeking to fill a Manufacturing Planner/Scheduler opening for our client in Baytown, TX.** **Location:** Baytown, TX **Duration:** 12 months **Pay:** $50.00/hour to $60.00/hour **TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) Card required.** **Duties:** + Schedule all planned maintenance work, ensuring resources are allocated according to availability and operational needs. + Review SAP backlogs to identify ready-to-schedule work orders. + Prepare weekly optimized schedules in collaboration with Operations, taking into account due dates, workload, available resources, and the need for special equipment and tools. + Coordinate with Operations to reschedule work as necessary to accommodate break-in tasks. + Lead schedule update meetings to ensure work is prioritized and resources are aligned between maintenance and production teams. + Monitor backlogs and communicate with maintenance supervision regarding capacity needs to maintain optimal backlog levels. + Compile and distribute schedules to Operations and Maintenance Execution Groups to ensure all teams are aligned and can follow one unified schedule. **Skills:** + Proficiency in SAP and Prometheus scheduling tools. + Strong knowledge of plant maintenance practices. + Excellent communication and coordination skills to work across departments. + Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. + Ability to climb stairs and perform physical activities as required for safety. **Experience:** + At least 12 years of heavy industrial maintenance experience, with a minimum of 3 years directly planning and scheduling in a heavy industrial environment, preferably in maintenance. + Experience in scheduling, coordinating, and executing maintenance activities in a large-scale plant environment. **Education:** + High school diploma or equivalent. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Knowledge of SAP-PM Maintenance Transactions, Documentum, Microsoft Office Products, and Meridium. + Supervisory experience and contractor management skills. + Ability to work at a computer for prolonged durations.
