Manufacturing Process Engineer
Job Description: Manufacturing Process Engineer We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will analyze and evaluate production processes to identify areas for improvement and increase efficiency. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to optimize production workflows and reduce waste, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Responsibilities + Analyze and evaluate production processes to identify areas for improvement and increase efficiency. + Develop and implement strategies to optimize production workflows and reduce waste. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new manufacturing processes and systems. + Conduct time and motion studies to determine optimal production methods. + Ensure that all production processes comply with safety and quality standards. + Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed engineering drawings and specifications. + Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions. + Provide training and support to production staff on new processes and equipment. + Prepare and present reports on production performance and improvement initiatives. Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field. + Proven experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools. + Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. + Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. + Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in project management. + Expertise in continuous improvement and process improvement. + Skills in human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics, material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination. Work Environment The work environment consists of both office and manufacturing settings. You will collaborate with a team of approximately 55 office staff and around 100 shop employees, many of whom have extensive experience. The role involves using advanced CAD software and other engineering tools. The position requires adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
