Manufacturing Process Engineer
Job Title: Manufacturing Process Engineer

Job Description

The Process Engineer will support quality and continuous improvement initiatives within our electrical control panel manufacturing operations. This role requires a strong experience in process development and optimization, Lean Six Sigma qualifications, and experience with automation.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement automation solutions.Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve production issues.Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures.Train and mentor production staff on process improvements and best practices.Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to process efficiency and quality.Essential SkillsManufacturing engineeringIndustrial engineeringProcess improvementManufacturing processBachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Quality Engineering2-5 years in process engineering within an electrical assembly or manufacturing environment, including any internship and/or co-op experienceLean Six Sigma qualificationsExperience with automationAdditional Skills & QualificationsContinuous improvementLean manufacturingAssemblyElectricalWork Environment

The work environment includes both office settings and manufacturing floor environments. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and requires adherence to safety and quality standards. The company has experienced significant growth, doubling in size, and is predicting 20% growth in 2025 due to increased orders and new customers.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
