We are seeking a talented Electro-Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in driving innovation through new product introduction and process development. In this role, you will work at the intersection of design and manufacturing, developing cutting-edge products and ensuring seamless integration into production. ResponsibilitiesLead and be accountable for projects, driving results.Provide technical direction and leadership across site/regions to drive/lead best practices and continuous improvement projects.Stay abreast of new technology and develop innovative solutions.Serve as a subject matter expert on HLA/system integration.Understand manufacturing and test equipment concepts, technologies, and techniques to improve quality and efficiency.Carry out process improvement and problem resolution projects.Perform research, design, and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods, and production equipment.Support the manufacturing launch of new/revised products including establishing goals, training team members, and evaluating results.Represent the Operations organization as the prime technical contact on electro-mechanical device projects.Interact with senior-level internal and external personnel on significant technical matters.Follow and develop technical specification requirements and provide significant input on technical procedures.Present complex technical information/analysis and respond to questions from technical staff and management.Mentor less experienced engineers.Provide work direction to technicians and junior engineers.Collaborate with manufacturing and other functional groups on manufacturing and regulatory compliance issues.Contribute to the establishment of business objectives, goals, budgets, and costs.Work with other manufacturing sites, including CMOs.Essential Skills4+ years of design for manufacturing experience.Experience with electromechanical systems.Project management skills.Understanding of regulated environments.Experience in design engineering, manufacturing engineering, and process engineering.Knowledge of medical device manufacturing.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working with R&D teams.Ability to push back on design for manufacturing principles.Work Environment
The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, with opportunities to collaborate with cross-functional teams. The role involves working with state-of-the-art technologies and equipment to develop innovative solutions. There may be occasional travel to other manufacturing sites, including CMOs. The dress code is business casual.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $107000.00 - $133000.00/yr.
